Covid19 dedicated #Community support helpline, freephone 1800 300 404, is available to offer assistance to isolated and/or vulnerable members of the community in County Cavan during the COVID-19 emergency.
If you require assistance – or if you know of a neighbour, relation, or individual in your community who may require assistance – please call the number, encourage them to get in touch, or if they consent for you to do so, call on their behalf. We are #inthistogether.
Phone lines are open from 8am – 8pm, seven days a week, and an email helpline is also available at covidsupport@cavancoco.ie.
Working with #volunteers throughout our communities they are offering collection and delivery of food, essential household items, fuel, medication. Transport to community testing centres, clinical assessment hubs, GP and hospital appointments,

Chief Executive of Cavan County Council Mr Tommy Ryan said, “I would urge anyone in need of assistance, whether they are self-isolating, have other health issues, or no access to transport, to get in touch and call this helpline”.
“We in Cavan County Council are aware of the fantastic work that is being done at a local level by volunteers, be it neighbours, community groups, GAA clubs, or the Church, and this new helpline will allow us to assist these efforts, by directing support to those who need it,” said Mr Ryan.
